J22 World Sailing Regatta Durban 2007
I can never begin to thank you enough for the marvelous trip you planned for us. Everything was perfect! Everyone was so friendly and made us feel very welcome.
I would like you to please give our thanks to all of the committee for a wonderful reception and two fabulous dinners at the club. You all really spoiled us and we sincerely appreciate it. Putting on a event like this one is lots of hard work and very time consuming. I think, my crew appreciated NOT sailing in the strong winds, after their flip over in the gust. "Be careful what you ask for, you just might get it" is the phase that comes immediately to mind.
I am running late for an appointment, but will write more later, filled with a jillion more "thank yous" to you and all the wonderful people in South Africa that made the trip so wonderful for all of us.

The trip to South Africa was just wonderful.
Got back a few days ago, hard to settle down to the everyday routing.
Just wanted you to know that Whale Cottage was perfect, we were so impressed with Marianne - the lovely coloured lady who runs the Camps Bay Cottage, so helpful and eager to please. It goes without saying that we absolutely loved the luxury and 6 star service and accommodation at the Lanzerac.
We had room 119, enormous with private courtyard, just out of this world - so thanks again.

Just wanted to write to thank you for a really great time. Your choice of venues was fantastic. The Whale Cottage at Camps Bay, the wonderful place at Franshook, the Victoria Bay property and especially the safari were all outstanding. The place you found for us in Durban was pretty good too!

The two days with Ken were fabulous. I wish we had scheduled more time in this area. Shakaland was a good way to gain a visual understanding of the culture. We have since bought a few books about the area and hope to return when we can schedule more time.
